You know, when I am sad or depressed
You call when I need you the most even when we are oceans apart
And your calls bring so much calmness to my life
You say everything is going to be ok and everything gets better
At the time of my breakup, I remember I called you and cried and you said it’s going to be ok. And it got better.
At the time of my layoff, I remember I called you, and I said I don’t have a job and you said come back to India. We have everything here.
What makes you even more special is
You never cared about me because I went to IIT
And you never cared about me because I ran the IRONMAN race
Infact, you never cared about a particular identity of mine - that the world thought was pretty cool or hard to accomplish
You cared about me - because you loved me just the way I am.
And you never asked me for anything.
I am blessed and grateful to have you in my life
