Hello lovers!
I sometimes wonder if you wonder what love is and what life is like.
Well, my profile is Atal Loves You!
I wonder a lot. It’s one of those questions whose answer I still don’t know, so I keep looking around. And along with this, there are a ton of things - that I seem not to understand —my connection to the sun, my love for nature, and my more significant purpose in this universe.
So to believe in my truth and find answers to those questions, I launched a podcast with my friend Brian, and we are calling it.
Human Labs!
Brian and I have never met in person. A few weeks ago, we connected through a mutual friend on a video call. That exchange was one of the rarest, most unique, and most engaging conversations ever had. So we decided to continue getting to know each other better - and it looks like we talk daily as if we are dating. We look at things from different angles - same story - one from science and one from spirituality. This combination is deadly, so we decided to start a podcast for humanity. This is the 1st episode of the podcast where we share and talk about how we think about taking humanity to the 22nd century as vibrant and healthy beings.
Here's some background about me:
Atal is an Ironman athlete (Swim 2.4 miles + Bike 112 miles + Ran 26.2 miles in a day) from someone who couldn’t run for 2 miles about 5 years ago and almost died drowning in Lake Tahoe last year. He has 5+ years of experience in healthcare as a product manager - He built the 1st COVID-19 Test Location Finder that helped 10M+ people find COVID-19 Testing Locations and powered Google and Apple Maps. He has a diverse set of experiences as being a part of the community of IIT Kharagpur (He served as a college president), BurningMan (taught him how to live in adversities and be an artist), and Ironman athletes (how to endure pain without suffering). Atal was born in Rampur, Uttar Pradesh - a small city in India and moved to the U.S in 2017 to pursue a master's in management at UC Santa Barbara.
Here's Brian's background:
Brian is a scientist at the Millennium Alliance for Humanity and the Biosphere (Stanford) and the University and Jepson Herbaria (Berkeley). His research focuses on fostering positive social and environmental outcomes that support a prosperous future for life on Earth. To this end, he works with entrepreneurs, inventors, and investors in AI/ML, XR, quantum computing, web3, energy, health, and finance who hold a similar vision for the future. Brian is a life scientist and earth scientist by training, and his hobbies include running mountains, weight training, surfing, and adventuring magically in Merino wool.
Atal looks at life from a perspective of meditation on mortality - helping him realize his dreams and move fast. Brian looks at life as a scientist, diving deep into the rich plurality of the human experience and what we can say based on evidence.
This team is on a mission to take humanity to the 22nd century, healthy and thriving.
I look forward to getting your feedback to improve it further.
